Zaouia / zawiya burial tomb shrine site of Sidi Abdel Aziz, Marrakesh, Morocco, 2016–04-19.
Sidi Abdel Aziz eventually became the spiritual successor of Shaykh al-Jazuli.
A fifteenth century theologian, he was born in Marrakesh, but moved away and lived in the city of Fes. He returned to Marrakesh after the passing of
Shaykh al-Jazuli / Imam el Jazouli.
In local folklore, It is said that womens chances of fertility and easy childbirth is increased by visiting his burial tomb site.
