Legzira Beach, Sidi Ifni Province, Southern Morocco
Legzira Beach, Sidi Ifni Province,Southern Morocco, 2016-06-04.
Located between Mirleft and Sidi Ifni, Legzira is the most famous and unique beach in Morocco.
The first arch which has been eroded out of the coastline by winds and the tide still stands and will not fail to impress, but the second natural rock arch formation which made the beach famous collapsed in September 2016.
There are other natural arches and interesting rock formations dotted about the stretch of coastline between Sidi Ifni and Legzira. It’s possible to walk the mesmerising 10km stretch of coast from Legzira to Sidi Ifni, where you will be able to see another natural arch which is not accessible via the main beach.
The main beach itself is an easy amble, with rugged, windswept coastline to admire as you walk your way up to the natural arch.
