El Badi Palace Architecture, Marrakesh, Morocco, 2016–04-21.

The El Badi Palace and sunken gardens are a short walk from Bahia, within the old, towering Medina walls of the Mellah.

Commissioned by the Arab Saadian sultan Ahmad-al-Mansur and completed in 1593, the complex took 25 years to build and is considered to be some of the finest examples of Saadian architecture in Moroco.
A ruined palace, the site is often being renovated and restored, but remains to be many peoples favourite Marrakesh palace experience.
